New Year's Day

I know I'm a whole month behind on this post, but just bare with me as I get back on track.  Two days after returning home from Turkey, it was New Year's.  The Fish Sticks would not let me forget the importance of following our New Year's traditions.  We spent a great family day together and the girls helped me cook our traditional appetizer meal with punch to drink.
Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts and a cheeseball
The fun part was to incorporate some of our "loves" from Turkey into our celebration.  Pomegranates were a must.  Aunt Sara had packed a bag of these yummy waffle cone cookies in our bags that had caramel in the center.
And what would our post-Turkey celebration be without Turkish tea in our beautiful Turkish tea cups?
